Large scale art installation for local festival Digi Culture & Music.
I had the opportunity of designing an art installation for the 2024 delivery of Canberra’s local boutique festival Digi Culture & Music. Working with an open brief, this banner collection celebrates diverse cultural expressions and the festival’s inclusive ethos.
The first banner honours Indigenous culture and the land on which the festival is held, with a reverence for history and connection to the natural environment.
The second banner, a pixelated collage in Digi’s signature digital aesthetic, blends contemporary design with abstract forms, symbolising the fusion of modernity and tradition.
The third banner highlights freedom of movement through abstract shapes, embodying dance, self-expression, and the festival’s vibrant energy. This final banner also provided a chance to infuse the installation with my own unique, playful touch.
